@Dean: excellent stuff, looking forward to v4! I’m definitely in favor of #3 being optional, e.g. perhaps even off by default… just as long as non-retweeters like us can hide the button :)

@Shawn: I second Dean’s Fluid.app recommendation — try using it as an MenuExtra SSB (create the Fluid instance, then look under the application menu and you’ll see “Convert to MenuExtra SSB…”). Then you’ll have an icon in your main menubar that you can just click on and down pops Hahlo :)

Of course, that only works if you’re on OS X — if not, you’ll have to use Firefox or Safari, but is that *really* such a bad thing? ;)

Adobe Air, not going to happen, sorry. Well not unless they begin supporting php sometime soon. Besides why do you need Air when it works perfectly fine in Firefox and Safari anyway, and Fluid.app for mac users or Prism for Windows users will give it that ‘stand alone’ feel.
