Everyone is having a crack at a “better” iTunes 10 icon, and despite telling myself I wouldn’t join in then fun… I did. What’s more is I didn’t even make it blue, purple or a glowing orb of some description. If you’re on dribbble you can also comment/fave it over there if you so desire.
Update: Preview of the smaller sizes (256,128,32,16 pixels) after the jump plus a download link so you can grab the icon and use it if its to your liking.
Update 2: I’ve updated the download to include the round version — both the .icns and 512px PNG version of each is now included in the download.
The .icns file is now available for download — link is at the top of the post.

I favor yours over the current “darling”, that being the circular grape color with the quote pointer available at http://drbl.in/51446 which looks to me as if it were designed for Mr. Bill. Thanks for something a little more refined.
