Excellent news. I look forward to seeing what comes of this project. By the way, I cannot see anything on the lifestream page - is it still at such an early stage?

This looks very interesting. I've been looking at a load of aggregators over the last while and the idea of having something plug directly into WordPress is very appealing.

My favourite at the moment is Spokeo - which allows you to pick up all your friend's feeds from a huge variety of services, without ever suggesting that you "invite" them to the service.

I assume you have a plan for how you're going to develop this, but I figure no harm in throwing in my ideas as to how something like this would work.

Option to add various accounts which you are subscribed to, picking up information from each of their feeds.

Enter your email address and the plugin scans a pre-set range of sites and automatically picks up your feeds through your email address.

Obviously point 2 is a bit more complicated.

Just my two cents... I wouldn't have a clue how to do something like this!

Check out spokeo to see how nicely they've done things (although the styling could do with a rework..)

Other sites I've been testing are:

Second Brain
I'm Inta
Friend Feed
