It also won't be an issue in 2.0 due to the new menu structure thats being introduced in WP2.7

Are you using the latest version of Fluency (1.2.1), the issue you described was present in 1.0 (and maybe 1.1 can’t be sure) but should definitely be fixed in 1.2.1. It also won’t be an issue in 2.0 due to the new menu structure thats being introduced in WP2.7
