Dude, I love the idea, the screenshot looks amazing but do not call it iTweetr. The “i” is so fucking over used in product naming today and it’ll make your program seem like another fish in the water. Love the idea, change the name.

Great work Dean! How about developing the app for the Nokia N800? It’s no iPhone (nor a phone for that matter) but it’s totally open and very hackable. Let me know Your thoughts on this one…

I’m guessing it would only be a matter of making sure it (or a version of it) works with the Opera browser that come on the N800. So yes, in theory, its entirely possible.

Scrolling should work normally, if it’s an AJAX based web app. So why would it be any different? And even if it was… chances are Apple already thought of that, and they’ve implemented some auto conversion thing to adapt “normal” scrolling to whatever you seem to think they will be doing.

That being said… that’s sweet!

Yeah I tried to add “drag scrolling” but figured there wasn’t much sense in spending heaps of time on it just yet, mainly because I don’t know exactly how the scrolling will work with the iPhone. I’m going to try and track down some more details from WWDC and go from there.

It doesn’t feel like an iPhone-app without it.
